Kale is a powerful food that is packed with phytochemicals, fiber and chlorophyll, a major blood builder. The cleaner our blood, the more healthy we are!!!

Try Dharma's Kale Salad (1-2 servings)


1 head of kale

2 handfuls sprouts, any kind you like

2 vine-ripened tomatoes, sliced

1-2 avocados, sliced...

1 handful fresh dill, chopped



juice of 1 or 1 1/2 meyer lemons

3-5 tbs. nutritional yeast

cayenne pepper to taste 3-5 tbs.

dulse flakes

pinch of celtic or himalayan sea salt 1 tbs.

olive oil (optional)


DIRECTIONS: Take the kale stems one by one, and strip the leaves off the thick stems by hand. Once you have gotten the leaves off, add a pinch of sea salt to them and tear them into little pieces for easy digestion. It is important to use your hands to tear it up. It helps to break down and soften the kale. Place the kale in a large bowl. Add the dressing ingredients and mix well. Add the sprouts, tomatoes, avocado slices and dill and mix well again. Feel free to add other veggies! Enjoy!!
